Deleting your data
Two ways to do it, one of which takes about ten seconds. Both remove the same things.

1. Delete it yourself, immediately
Sign in, open Settings → Danger zone, and choose Delete workspace. You will be asked to type the workspace name to confirm, because this cannot be undone.
Every connector is revoked the moment you confirm — the authorisation is handed back to the platform, not merely forgotten by us. Nothing further is read from that day on.
2. Ask us instead
If you cannot sign in — you have lost access to the account, or you are asking on behalf of someone at your company who has left — email privacy@morningmetrics.app from an address on the same domain as the workspace, or tell us enough to identify it.
We reply within two business days and complete the deletion within thirty. We will confirm in writing when it is done.
3. What gets deleted
Everything read from your connected platforms, and everything derived from it.
4. What we keep, and why
Two things survive deletion, and only because the law requires it.
Invoices and payment records are kept for seven years under Australian tax law. They contain your billing details and what you paid — never platform data. Security audit logs recording sign-ins and permission changes are kept for twelve months.
Neither can be used to reconstruct your marketing data, because neither contains any.
5. How long it takes
Connector access stops instantly. The workspace stays readable for thirty days so you can change your mind or export anything you still need — after that it is deleted permanently and cannot be recovered by us or by you.
Deletion propagates to encrypted backups within a further thirty days, as those backups age out on their own rotation. Sixty days after you press the button, nothing remains.
6. If you only want one platform gone
You do not have to delete the whole workspace. In Settings → Connectors, disconnecting a single connector revokes that platform’s authorisation and stops any further reads from it.
Data already imported from that platform stays until you delete it, so your historical reporting does not develop a hole. If you want that history gone as well, email us and say which platform.
7. Deleting data we hold about your customers
For the data we read on your behalf, you are the controller and we are the processor. If one of your customers exercises a right of erasure with you, tell us and we will delete the corresponding records within thirty days.
In practice this is rarely needed: we read order records and aggregate performance, never your customers’ correspondence, payment details or GA4 user identifiers.
